Solgar® One-A-Day GLA provides a high-potency source of the Omega-6 fatty acid Polyunsaturated Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), derived from cold pressed oil from borage (starflower) seeds.

Borage, also known as starflower, is an herb commonly found in Asia, North Africa and Europe. It has been used since ancient times in traditional medicine and is one of nature’s richest sources of Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA). Traditionally supporting women, fatty acids are lipids, the general term for dietary fat. The body can make several fatty acids, however, those it cannot make in adequate amounts must be obtained through the diet (essential fatty acids).

Solgar® One-A-Day GLA comes in an easy 1 a day dose and contains GLA, alongside Linoleic Acid, Oleic Acid and Palmitic Acid. The borage oil used for this special formula is cold pressed and hexane free. One softgel contains the equivalent amount of GLA as 3 Evening Primrose Oil softgels.
